I am trying to print a 2008 T2 and it will not print the T2 Bar Code - I get message Printer Not Activated, error code - 30. How do I fix it.

Answer

This error message is commonly associated with the ProFile PDF converter and indicates, if you are not specifically trying to print to the converter, that it is selected as the default Windows printer.

CRA will not accept a PDF copy of the return for filing, so you will need to change the default selection, in Windows Control Panel, to a physical printer for output.

Regarding the error message itself, generally this is solved by removing and re-installing the ProFile PDF converter.
