Error message received . "The system cannot find the file specified, Class ID:{409B9C7D-5FC5-4120-BF)A-E545356EA071}

I have the 2014.1.1 version of profile installed on a windows PC running Windows 8.1. It was running ok but the last time I opened it, Profile opened to the main screen. When I tried to open a file I received the following error message. "The system cannot find the file specified, Class ID:{409B9C7D-5FC5-4120-BF)A-E545356EA071} and an ok button. After clicking on the ok button, I receive a red x and the following message. "The following error occurred on the file 'C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\PofileAdapter.dll'. The system cannot find the file specified". I reinstalled the program and reran the 2014.1.1 update which installed the ProfileAdapter.dll file but still receive the same message and cannot use the program. Please advise.
