Issue

ProFile users receive "Unable to load file template" error message:

This error is a result of ProFile looking for a template that no longer exists.

Resolution

Delete the template as follows:

  1. Select the "Module..." option from the "Options" drop-down menu in the top toolbar.

The "Module Options" window displays:



  2. Clear the path in the "File Template" field by highlighting the path and pressing the <Delete> button; the spacebar should not be used to clear a field because this results in an invalid path.

  3. Click the "OK" button; the issue should be resolved.

Additional Resolutions

If the error message is encountered when no templates are in use:

  1. Select the "Module..." option from the "Options" drop-down menu in the top toolbar.

The "Module Options" window displays:



 2. Verify that the template path in the "File Template" field is correct.

 3. Verify that there are no spaces in the path entered in the "File Template" field.
