Issue

After entering product code and license key in the License window, there is no green checkmark to indicate that the license has been activated.

Resolution

Install Windows Updates

  1. In the Windows "Control Panel", search for the term "Windows Update".

  2. Click the "Windows Update" link in the search results; a list of available updates displays.

  3.  Install any outstanding updates.

Setting SSL Usage

  1. Open an Internet Explorer browser.

  2. Select "Tools" -> "Internet Options".

  3. Select the "Advanced" tab.

  4. Scroll down the window to the "Security" section.

  5. Check the boxes for "Use SSL 2.0" and "Use SSL 3.0".  

  6. Check the boxes for "TLS 1.0":

  7. In the Internet Explorer browser select "Tool" -> "Compatibility View Settings".

The "Compatibility View Settings" window displays.

  8. Check the option "Display intranet sites in Compatibility View":

  9. In the Internet Explorer browser select "Tool" -> "Internet Options".

  10. Select the "Privacy" tab.

  11. Turn off the "Pop-up Blocker" option:

 

  12. Click the "OK" button.
